I would assume that is the "Gel Coat" option? Really - is that the way it comes? Looks great!! I plan to get my body this fall and I'm considering the Gel Coat Option.

Default Cobra Body

Did you purchase just the body, and who manufactured it?

The body is from A&C autos in Buffalo NY. The doors are chipped on a spot that I don't think you will see when the doors are closed. Joe would have redone them if I shipped them back. I'm just afraid the color won't match. Not the end of the world it could be worse. Now I just wish I had the time to mount the body. I tried twice now. I removed the radiator and headers, I'm so afraid of scratching the gel coat. I might try again after work on Saturday. I still can't get over the quality job they did on the body.

Default color match

I also did the gelcoat, for the price it's hard to beat. The plan is to work out all the bugs then have a real nice paint job done. You are correct on the color match I have a couple of spots that needed repaired on my gel coat. I ordered the gel coat from Joe, it's not quite the same color, but close enough. I think this Winter it's time to paint this is my 2nd full Summer. Had some minor engine issues with the dist. gear and this year was fuel issues, or lack of fuel. But both seem to be resolved been driving mine a bunch this year.
