Improving Steering & Handling??

Start with the basics. These are not Snap-Tite models. You can't just bolt them together and go. You have to spend more time tuning and adjusting the chassis than you do the engine.

Different type and brand of tires front and rear is rarely a good idea. I made that mistake once, and the handling was down right evil.

Your front tires are not wearing evenly. That means your alignment is off. Be sure and do a thrust angle alignment at the same time.

Setting the proper balance is important. Try and get your corner weights pretty close. Then set your shocks at about the same, front and rear. I'd start with a mid to soft setting, and adjust from there.

Also, disconnect your sway bars. Sway bars add wheel rate during uneven compression and expansion of the suspension. If your frequency is already high, sway bars will make it worse. Too much wheel rate makes a light weight car "darty" on irregular surfaces.
