Default Carrols Autograph

Hey; Just received my passenger side viser autographed by the man himself. I sent him my part along with a donation to his foundation and i just got the part back. It came with a certificate saying that he signed it on June 11. Cool. Got to love it. Its that last personal touch that will make my baby even more special then it is now to me.
The only thing now is how do i protect it. The autograph is on the inside of the viser so the wind wont get at it. I was thinking on buying another set of visors and mating the passenger one with the one i have. Doubling it up so that the autograph is protected on both sides.

Excited
Automan.

"Carrols"
Did he at least spell it right when he signed it?
Just picking, I figured I would beat everyone to the punch
How long does it take?

Oops, they might have forgot to reprogram the computer that does the signature these days...

Here, pull my finger.

Someday we won't be able to get that signature, it's a keeper all right!

CobraJam: It took only 3 weeks. but i did rush it down and have them rush it back. Payed huge for shipping but it was good money invested. He touched my car. A piece of it anyway.

I just had my dash signed too. I have similar concerns, although I cannot exactly put a second dash in to protect this one like your visor... anyone out there with a signed dash that can tell me how it holds up? Does the silver paint pen hold up pretty good... you know to the sun and the leather treatment stuff? And I agree money well spent and for a good cause as well. A win/win.

I purchased an extra glove-box door and sent it off. When it came back I framed it and have it in my office. The signature does smear if you touch it.

Mine was done with Black magic marker. I wont touch it just because of the worry of smearing it. It might sound silly but if you make a frame to cover the signature or even a clear glass plate with four screws into the dash like the way they do a rookie hockey or baseball card. That might do the trick and if done right, look really cool and classy.

I had him sign my glove box, silver marker - been there a couple of years
and looks the same. I also have a few books signed too - those I'm not
worried about. Like the rest of us, he isn't here forever so I have a small
part of him and hopefully helped some kids too. Turn around time about
three weeks for me and I'm out in the middle of the ocean - you guys have
nothing to worry about.
