A is for the top of the rad, B is for the steering colomn mount C is to hold the nose up or for the cowl bar.

Sorry I dont use it on the cars I do I make my own, you may be able to see it on my site.

Here's the bracket. I thought too it was the cowl bracket. Ha. Wasn't that long ago. I have a flaming river steering column. You can see the muffler clamp goes thur the bracket. You mount it to the side of the foot box.
