Got my car Dyno tuned, finally
Thursday I had a appointment at Automotive Diagnostic Specialties in Chandler to get my car Dyno tuned. I was there from 10am till 4pm. I still have a couple issues to resolve then back to the dyno and finish up. They did a great job, with 20+ year techonology it takes some time to get dialed in but so far they have done a great job. Thursdays results on a Mustang Dyno 419 Hp and 440 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels.
Engine is a Kieth Craft 331, Vortech S-trim Supercharger, AFR 165 heads, Trickflow intake, 42lb injectors.

I'm curious, Paul - what were your power and torque gains for the day as a result of the tuning? What did you show up with and what did you leave with? I'm often astounded with the gains that can be made with both upgrading the exhaust and with dyno tuning. Both are relatively cheap and easy and in some cases I have heard of huge gains being made.

Filter Mode and Filter Value
If you Google "filter mode" "filter value" and dynamometer you'll get a lot of PDF scans of dyno reports just like yours, but nowhere does it explain what the "filter value" is or the mode itself. The filter value numbers themselves range from less than 10 to 100. Anybody know what that number means, how it's chosen, and its effect on the output?

Paul, according to my chart those numbers show you have about 525hp at the crank.

I have a small problem with the charts......H.P. and torque should "cross" (i.e. should be equal) at 5252 r.p.m........
I can be so damn pickey at times.
