Default car show in maricopa mar 13 & 14

It's that time of year again when the Raceway Bar & Grill in Maricopa puts on It's anual car show. This year they are putting on a big show with live music, a motorcycle rally on Sat the 13th. and a car show on Sun the 14th. The people that own the place are big Ford fans and would love to see a group of Cobras show up to join in with the fun. There will be trophies for the winners & lots of beer & food for the losers. I'm sure that if we can get a few Cobras out to this show that the owner will make a special class in the show for Cobra's only with trophies. It's not a far drive from phoenix and I'm sure a lot of you have never been out here anyway. Come out and have some fun, spend the day and remember BURN OUTS ARE A REQUIREMENT at THE RACEWAY BAR.
If anyone needs directions or information get ahold of me at 520-705-7612 or on the forum , or ask Ralph.

Thanks Lonestar 024

Oh Boy, finally Cobra meet that I won't have to drive a 100 miles to get to!

And for us losers who'll get lots of beer, we can bring guns as there is a place to shoot a couple of miles away. Sounds like a great day, beer, booze, ammo and guns, YEAH!!!

Dan, LOOK again at the date on Tom's thread, the car show at Raceway Bar is the 14th of MARCH, a month later then George's invite!
Pay attention, Dan, there'll be a test later!

And yes, Karl, there should have been 3 B's, Beer, Booze and Boobs! SORRY!

OK, Tom has informed me that the dates at the beginning of this thread are NOT correct, me thinks it may be the 27th/28th of March.
I wrote an e-mail to the Raceway Bar website for the correct date and will start a new thread once we get the official word.

Tom's secretary, Ralphine

Oh.. that 14th of March.. Not the one in February.. Maybe we can make that one. You guys all know that Marti wants to cook for you don't you? She's trying to find a day to BBQ at her place. I'll let everyone know when that is. Only requirement is that you bring your cobra and make lots of noise...

Sorry Guy's. I made a mistake on the dates of this gathering. This event is taking place on MARCH 27th & 28th. Check out the flyer I've posted. The events on sat. are angled more toward Bikes. They are having a poker run and so on. Come out if this interests you, but the car events are happening on sun the 28th of MARCH MARCH MARCH. (Danr).

This event has been a lot of fun in the past with less events. They have included several added events this year and should prove to be a great time. as I stated in the first post BURN OUTS ARE REQUIERED.

Also if I could get somewhat of a head count of Cobras that would show up I can get the owner to rope off a place exclusive for us so we can park as a group.

Thanks Lonestar 024

Tom, and Ralphie. I might have to see if I can bum a ride to Beautiful Maricopa for this show. Fairly sure my car won't be ready by then.
