Scully,
After just having done this recently a couple comments...Take your old mc to napa and they will cross reference the part number, mine was on the bottom of mc, and find the correct replacement. It cost me about $75.00 for the late 70's mustang unit 15/16'' bore setup for disc/drum.

Bench bleed the new one per instructions, remember any air in the system has to get removed. The less air you start with the better.

As far as a leak goes I found one of the lines on mine had a deformed flare and nut that was probably from being way overtightened. Napa also has pre-flared lines in different lengths if you find you need one.

And get a quart sized bottle of fluid and flush all the lines starting at the passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front and driver front. Use clear tubing on the bleed nipples at the brakes and run it into a plastic water bottle, you can see the color of the fluid change when you get the new clean fluid to the brakes. Make sure you don't run the mc dry in the process or you will get air and have to start over.

There was quite a bit of brake discussion on the Classic Roadsters forum under "Brake questions". You might find it helpful.

John
