I, too, do the check ID thing on the credit cards and do get asked most of the time for ID. I always thank the clerk for asking.

Sorry Don, I just seen your posting.
You are welcome for the mats, I wanted you to get them.
It was to be a secret, I wonder who let the cat out of the bag?
On second thought only one person knew about it, I won't say any names but he drives an overheating Corvette.

Ask Don and do a little checking but I did not tell Don. After and I am talking like weeks later it came up in conversation. I think Mikie said it was Dan and the conversation went on, I did agree but I am not the cat out of the bag guy. So take that.....

I had it figured out as soon as it happened.

Oh Bob, you had no idea either.
Good thing the little hen was clucking so much or it would still be a mystery.

Dan, who did we all know that was getting rid of his FFR at the same time as the floor mats appeared?
Deductive reasoning my dear Watson.

Latest scam I have heard, is getting a call for jury duty you missed. They brow beat you into giving all your vitals. Spoof cards can be used to show any number on your caller ID.

Rat Boy,
I am guilty of so much stuff it is not often I can b1tch about being falsely accused. This is one of the rare times. .......... I did confirm who Santa was but weeks after Mikie and others had figured it out.

It must be great to be mildly delusional and think that you're smarter than everyone else. Imagine the possibilities!!!!

Why try something new? It's more fun to be sarcastic.

My wife had her Visa stolen about a month ago from a gas station. I haven't reported it yet to the authorities though because the guy who took it is spending less than she used to.

That's pretty funny but most likely pretty true for most of us.

OK, I can't take all this pressure anymore. I confess, I'm the rat. I haven't been able to sleep for weeks and am considering professional counseling. The voices in my head won't stop and I am seeing images of Santa shaking his head at me as he puts a lump of coal in my stocking.
Please make it stop.

Did not go back and read all the Replies. In case it was not mentioned, hit the Clear button after using a credit/debit card at gas pumps etc., don't remember how it is obtained or used, but the card number remains active within the system.
Correct or ?
