Dan may have set a record by attending 3 car shows in the same day. A real diehard. Only thing missing yesterday was the scotch and cigars, oh, and about 20 other cobra members.

I had cleared my schedule for the Florence run. Took a drive instead. Not interested in doing car shows.

Mikie, the Florence run was a week ago, Dan went! We all took a drive also, some longer than others. Had a big buffet lunch, free for the early birds, some of us hit the slots, some of us won the raffle, we all had a good time BSing, we all did a burn out when leaving!
WHAT was not interesting about that kind of get-together?
Now we know who the KINGS are!!!

Some of you may recall when I asked why the President of the unofficial and non existant Az Cobra club did not attend. This will give new meaning to if you don't show, does the tree in the forest make sound !!!!!!!!!!

Yes and particularly in California in the woods around Big Bear and Palm Springs and along the beach near Santa Monica, the trees there have been know to emit a sound that is similar to yoo hoo, when people walk past them.

In addition it is a well know fact that trees talk to each other in specific dialect depending what tree species they are from. If you get a chance listen to the California Redwoods on a damp and windy morning during winter or convesly the trees on the northern rim of the Grand Canyon. it is an uplifting experience. It does help however if you are a registered tree hugger, a forester, or a save the Rain Forest advocate. Next.

Cheers, tin-man

The only trees I've ever heard talk were the trees around Manila. They make a sound that is like "pssstt".

The rule is as follows:

If you show great. If you don't show, we don't give a $#!t.

Still works.

Dan, how did you get time to get out in the forest to listen to the trees talking?
I couldn't find my way out the front doors of the bars in Angeles City until a quarter past drunk!
And by that time the Forests were closed!
But the VD clinics were still open!!!

Gary, at least our Pres doesn't need teleprompters to get out his thoughts!
And another thing, it's good to have a Pres that doesn't talk that "Politically Correct" bulls#!t.

I guess it all depends on whoooz hidin' behind the trees, that said, I can attest to what you are saying is true, the trees in Manilla do have a tendancy to emit a sound that says pssst but you forgot to add, "hey meesta, you wanna meet my seeesterr?"
