I let Wednesday, just after getting on I-40 the snow started coming down, when I reach the summit it was coming down like crazy I had to slow down to 80mph, nah I was slowed down to around 35Mph. For about 5-10 miles until I started down hill into Kingman all I could see beyond about 3 car lengh was white. Glad to see rain, I hate snow. Rest of my trip up was nice.

I hope we see a road-trip report soon, to see how they all made it.
Did everyone drive their Cobras or did the go in POV's ?

Default We made it!

Arrived Friday @ 1800...went to Kirkhams today from 0900 to 1500. Good turnout, many cars on display, nice lunch. Messrs Kirkham on hand to discuss hx , guest speakers and some some gentle political rhetoric from Dave Kirkham (Governor's race). A pleasant time for all. What a nice car! Photos to follow soon.

We made it home. Memorable trip. I remember why I moved to AZ. SNOW! LOT OF SNOW! All 6 of us survived. Some drove a lot, some didn't. Great bunch of guys. You try 14 hours in 1 car with 6 cobra owning old farts. Kirkham openhouse was also memorable. Tom an Dave Kirkham were gracious hosts. Met Keith Craft. Informative guided tour. The memory will be of the road trip, comments and meals. Glad I did it. Checked off Bucket List. Will not repeat. Photos will follow.

Bob, I bet I can guess what the key word in that paragraph is..."You try 14 hours in 1 car with 6 cobra owning old farts."

Kirkham open house was great. The drive up was great, well except for the people sitting in the way back. We changed those sitting back there frequently on the trip. Some would say not frequently enough.

The only person that did not drive, I had scheduled for part of the return out of Provo. Mother nature threw us a curve. It snowed from Prove to just outside St. George Utah. About 260 miles. Very nasty weather. Since it was Miss Ginny's car I drove through this mess.

Not sure what Paul faced on the ride down, as he left about 3 hours after we did. Lyle's new nick name is U-turn for food Lyle.

All in all a good trip.

I had a great time on this road trip. Not too sure driving over 26 hours for a little less than 5 hours @ the Kirkham's was the brightest thing I have done recently LMAO !!
It will provide stories and punch lines for months to come. Unfortunately the kinks in my neck and butt will probably last longer than the stories or my memory.

I had a good time the people I met at the Kirkham store were very nice. The cars were nice and unaffordable at least to yours truly I can only dream. The weather ok a lot better then what it could have been most of the snow was up in the mountains and made a nice picture. I was glad to leave the snow and cold there. Oh in case no one caught the drift , I was the one that didn't drive, enough said.

It's not what cars they owned so much as the 'old farts' that was probably the issue.

Mike, I am sure everybody's good behavior was the result of AMDAMD .....
assured mash destruction and mutual death.

With six of us inside a metal/glass box of roughly 250 square feet if the burping, farting and drooling started we were all doomed. The Ford Flex ride and comfort really was pretty good with exception to the small kid 3rd row seating. It was never intended for a 6 foot 200+ pounder much less 2 of them. We all rotated through the penalty box including Mikie. All in all it was a good time and the stories will start to leak out soon. Photos to follow.

I miss that cup.

Pikes Peak 14,115 ft.

Ms. Ginny says her car smelled like a six person sweaty old persons locker room.

lmao !!!!!!

an old used car sales trick = put a bowl of white vinagar on the front seat, close the windows and park for a few hours in the sun. I also have a commercial product you spray in/on the fresh air inlet for the AC system. A couple of squirts and run the air on recirc for 5 min.
