Default Ahh...the wonder of 12% Pilsner beer

Finally arrived in Plzen, Czech Republiic after a terrible flight on BA. Seat back would not recline, food terrible and had lousy cold. Other than that I am glad to be here for 3 more months. I'll be checking on the Cobra at Ken Pike's shop as time goes by. No estimate on time frame yet.

There are some car shows coming up soon and I'll check on the cobra scene here and elsewhere in central europe.

Talk to you soon, and a bid kiss for Bruce!!!

Glad to see you made it once again. You are now the cold virus distributor for the Czech Republic. I'm sure Bruce appreciates your kiss but you may get a $200 bill for it.
Your cobra will be well taken care of. Everyone likes to get paid. The room temperature, thick, double strength beer sounds good too.
Enjoy!

AZ Bob

Won't Mikie be jealous since he didn't get a kiss?

Bill...I've been away for a while. What's the latest with your cobra? You said it was at Ken's? How did you get it there?

Have a good vacation.

Default My Cobra repair

Mesa Mike...car was transported over week ago to Ken's place. Insurance is paying for the carry to him and returned to me in Avondale ($1800). Prelim estimate is 26K + supplement. Will keep you posted.
Regards,
Bill

I think you have it with the guy that can make it 100% again. Plan on the Huntington Beach show again next year. Later this month Will/Donna and Lorraine and I are returning to Oceanside to spend the weekend and meet with some of the SD guys again. Have a good vacation.

Wow, I see you didn't waste any time getting crap faced.

And you know "No MEANS NO",

And since you snuck that kiss in that will be $200 x 2.

Sheesh.

Pay up!!

Default Progress report

Some late news on the Cobra from Ken. He found some more chassis damage and the radiator/fan is hx, and the windshield frame is tweaked...so far. No time frame yet. The above is part of the supplement to insurance.

Sorry gofastoldguy,
I don't think a Cobray would have helped you then or now. You would probably have been going much quicker but the driver still has to be paying attention. The brakes are also dependant on driver input .....
she would just hurt ya.

Danr, Maybe you could toss him the keys to your hot rod. If he does well maybe a ragoon red chevette would be about right.

Does this mean that gofast is a candidate for a plastectomy? ya know, when a piece of plastic is inserted into his belly so he can see out when his head is up his arse.

Default Cobray error

Sorry Jeffey. When I said Cobray I meant to say Cobrette. Too many 12% Urquel's at that time. It's nice to know everyone is alert and has nothing else to do.

Karl, How does that work for you? I guess those windows come in extra tall?

Jeff, Chevettes don't come in Ragoon Red or Rangoon Orange.. Sorry.

I've had my plastectomy for decades and it really helps me get around. In fact, I was the reason the procedure was invented.
