"Blower and slicks = engine re-build." Or diff parts scattered all over the track, unless you have a nice bullet proof 9" live axle.

Thanks all for the wishes, I think.

As for the blower, engine repair is coming along, block saved with a new sleeve.

Good thing I'm not fixing a truck motor.

It's more of a question of why would you want to fix a truk motor anyway. Besides, they leak on driveways.

"truk motor"? isn't that an FE? I get confoozed between truk and boat anchor but don't think there's much difference. I know, itsa comin'.
