So you would rather go to a gun show that has toooooo many ppl and prices that are a mile away from being reasonable.

Default Car show

I had emailed to the show people and asked them to give up a dedicated spot just to park...not participate in the show itself. No response yet.

Comon Mesa Dave...it will have been over three weeks since the last gun show and some folks may start feeling withdrawals from not being josseled, pushed, prodded, and ripped off by the unwashed masses.

Gofastoldguy, Thanks for emailing the folks at the air/car show. I was thinking along the same line. I know that Mikiec won't pay to show his car and I was thniking that we could ask the show people if we could enter for the show , which is free (Mikiec, read FREE) and donate to them $5.00 per car to let us park together in the car show area. We would not be judged or in any way cost them any money. I can be reached at: aida_kerekes@msn.com or 520-825-9197.

I have never been able to understand why someone would host a car show and charge the guys that bring the cars and let the general public in free. Seems you'd do better if you let the guys bring the cars for free and charged the public to get in to look. Doesn't that make sense to anyone else?

Yes, to paying for Route 66 and Laughlin. It is not sponsored by city, state or federal government so we don't feel " Entitled".

Default Buckeye Air and Car Show

This is the latest info from the Buckeye Airport staff on the Fair on 2/23.
I've sent this message to all the people on my Cobra Guys address book but thought I would publish it to the Club Cobra site as well. Let's talk on Saturday night...
P.S.
I like Paul's sign-off sig.

"We would love to have your Cobras displayed at our Car Show. There would be no charge to you or your group. The problem is the car show is filling up fast and we expect the participants to exceed our planned goal. I am going out to the airport Saturday morning to see if we can designate a place for you and your group. I will email you sometime Saturday. If we are able to accommodate your group I will fill you in on more of the details."

Yes and also to 'Crusin under the Stars' (for Make A Wish).

Route 66 is not a car show, but an epic adventure. Laughlin, yup. After all, I am married to one of the organizers.

Damn, I wish the Marines on Iwo Jima had taken Mt. Suribachi a few days earlier or later, that way I could join you guys at the airport show.
But, NOOOOOOOOO, I gotta be in the Ira Hayes Flag Raising Parade instead!

Don't confuse me, Dan, "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945."
What happened last April? I can't remember what I had last night for dinner.
Don't confuse me Dan, I don't need any help with that!
