Ranch House Restaurant
We, our house and restaurant survived the fire. As of Wednesday, July 3rd, we have not been able to get in our restaurant, but it is still standing. All of the food is been lost and appliances have been shut off.
We will not be able to get in and check for damages for a couple of days yet. It won't be until Thursday that we can get any food even if there are no problems. So, we will be closed until July 11th at least. We will keep you updated. Please bear with us.
I'm thinking a breakfast run up there on the 20th. They open at 5:30am.
We could leave Wickenburg about 7-7:30am and be back before the heat.

For those from the east side to get back before the heat we would have to leave Wickenburg at 6:00. Does that work?

Dan,
That means you're leaving your house at 4:30 am.

I'm planning on it. Coby is dying to get out of the garage, and stretch a bit, down the stretch, if you know what I mean ! It'll be an interesting run.

With the old motor, it would have been wake up time for the whole city.

Mikiec, "With the old motor, it would have been wake up time for the whole city."
Do you mean the engine that G. XXXXX built that blew its self apart on the dyno?
It was raspy but maybe that was those truck rods clanging and banging around before they went through the block? At least I'd heard it was built with those heavier than hejjj truck rods. Maybe just another urban myth.

I have heard both Fitz's car and Karl's car. Not much diff in noise. Karl's makes a great leaf blower.

We all get older and get wiser; maybe should have kept those custom pipes and had another big block put in. Looking back pretty stupid not to have done that but wasn't thinking strait. It was a nasty sounding toy but happy with the Levy Stage 5.5......

Putting my car back in the paint shop so they can get the stripes correct. First time, they were 'way too dark (I could see them from across the shop) Second time, they are so faint that you have to know they are there to even see them. Their painter doesn't seem to grasp what "ghost" stripes are.
Am planning on making the Colorado Trail run the end of September.

Wish that we could be there with you. During my 40 year wildland firefighting career, 28 were spent working on federal Hotshot Crews out of California. I will be there in spirit with you.

Sorry Mike I was looking forward to it but other things got in the way. Ya'll have fun. Now you can leave later since the wimp from the east side won't be going.
