I'll remind all attendees you still must fill out the car show registration form even if we are there just for "show." The pdf has 2 forms, you only need one. If you bring it with you entry and parking will go faster. Last year we were forced to wait at the entrance until the forms were filled out.

Thanks to all

The air show and car display was pretty good with the attendance pretty high…except for the Cobras.
There were 4 of us in attendance including Tucson. Rather sad participation from AZ Cobra group I'm afraid. Still, it was nice meet some new faces. One guy stayed with us for most of the day asking questions about FFR kits. He will try to meet us on Tuesday night at the 5 n Diner. Talked with Scotty at Tom Jones Ford in Buckeye about his upcoming car show on March 15th. He has invited us to attend and display our cars at the show. He will assign up a special parking area. Those who wish to register for the show would pay $20 with proceeds all going to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital. I would hope for better attendance from everyone for this event. I will provide a link in my next post.

Bill, I wouldn't count on a large turnout for car shows. Once in a while, yes, for some unusual event, but for the most part the AZ Cobras are a driving bunch of people with type "A" personalities who can't sit still for long. After a couple hundred shows, you have heard and answered every question there is. All 3 of them.
1. Is it a kit or is it real?
2. How much did it cost?
3. How fast can it go?
I encourage you to attend car shows. It is great exposure for cobras and specially to any younger generation.

AZ Bob

Default Az Car Shows

Well guys, I am more interested in exposing the marque and the club at the shows... I am not doing this for my health. I always look for a show with a good beneficiary like a hospital, kids or the military first. Attending car shows that cost money, for the benefit of the venue, do not excite me.
Give me your feedback on the above show at Tom Jones Ford in Buckeye so I can tell Scotty yes or no for the AZ Cobras. Remember it's $20 for the show and 0$ for the display only. Please don't tell me it's too far! Thx guys.
