That could be excellent driving, or just blind luck. For his sake, I hope it's the former.

Amatures.

AZ Bob on my 5th set of rear tires
(but I would never do that 360 so close)

Who is in the Blue with white stripes car? I just saw them on Queen Creek and Arizona roads last weekend.

Personally, I think they are both a little lucky. Maybe I'm getting older and wiser, but putting yourself in a situation where things can end up bad is not a good choice.

No offense intended......

The guy in the silver car is my hero!!!!!!

Karl Bebout 04-02-2014 01:03 PM

Mikiec does stuff like that with his brick hard BFG-TAs, after he's run through mud puddles.

mikiec 04-02-2014 01:20 PM

1. that guy is stupid,
2. that guy is nutz
3. Start this over again.

I can honestly say... never done that, never will. I'm more like the Blue car. I keep it straight, unlike RatBoy.

Maricopa 04-02-2014 01:47 PM

A lot more entertaining vid would have been the beating the silver guy would have gotten if he'd taken out another car or two.

buddyg 04-02-2014 06:22 PM

Could have ended very badly with 2 wrecked cobras.

Trueoo7 04-02-2014 08:07 PM

Of course he went straight, he left the emergency brake on...

SandyC 04-02-2014 09:42 PM

I thought it was cool because I think skill was involved so it was a calculated risk, also a people free zone where he did the spin. Did you hear him blipping the throttle to maintain control and not just go crazy? I don't think it was the first time he'd done something like that.

The one thing that did worry me though was when he yelled, "Watch this!" Those two words are notorious for being famous last words.

Pman1961 04-02-2014 10:09 PM

This video is some of the Memphis gang!! Burnouts after dinner is tradition!! The second car to do the burnout on the tape (blue/white) is my car. The driver of the silver car is very experienced and donuts with curbs or just driving the hell out of the car is the norm.....

buddyg 04-03-2014 05:16 AM

What's the last two words a redneck says before he dies?

Watch This! LOL

Karl Bebout 04-03-2014 08:50 AM

"What's the last two words a redneck says before he dies?

Watch This!"

Almost. The correct quote is:

"Hold my beer. Watch this."

Hydramada 04-03-2014 09:14 AM

I have known the driver of the silver car for 17 years. He is a very experienced and talented driver with 14 years behind the wheel of that car. I think he drives better in tight circles over a straight line. :)

Most of us do burnouts when we leave our gatherings but the silver car does his with a bit more flair.

427SHREDS 04-03-2014 11:22 AM

Hello really "intelligent" people out there, LOL !!!

The person that yelled out, "WATCH THIS" was THE PERSON THAT WAS VIDEO RECORDING this sheer AWSOMENESS, not the driver. Several of you need to be MORE PERCEPTIVE & open up your ears!!! RedNeck comments only comes from = idiots < hahaha !!!

The guy in the Silver Cobra is my HERO too, he can out drive 99.999% of anyone on this little thread, good luck to the rest of you as your EATING HIS DUST :)

Have a nice day ~

Lighten up Francis, just having some fun.

And I would be that .001% that he is not better than as I have raced professionally in stock cars and formula Dodge.

The video and the participants therein all seem a bit childish to me.

Take it to the track, it is a lot safer for the drivers and the poor unsuspecting bystanders caught in this foolish display of machismo.

Exactly. Take it to the track. It's things like that, with people and other cars in close prox., that can give Cobra replica owners as a group a bad name.

My insurance agent told me Cobra claims are on the rise and it is getting harder to insure these cars. That's what I thought about when I watched that video.
