Default Highway MPG

Well after my 195 mile trip with the guys today she took 13.332 gallons.
That's a bit over 14.5 MPG and I am pretty happy with that.
Now I must say I never got into the secondaries or even revved it up all that much.
Ya it was a pretty boring trip for me but I will make up for it next time now that I know what she can get when needed.

Even going slow like that we almost lost Karl on the way home. He finally caught up after about 20 miles

I have a mildly tuned Chevy LS6 engine, tremec 6 speed, and a 3:42 corvette diff in my Cobra tribute. It easily gets over 30mpg. Unfortunately I haven't gotten to drive it for awhile.

800 horse small block or 600 horse big block, both get about the same 8-9 mpg.

"Even going slow like that we almost lost Karl on the way home. He finally caught up after about 20 miles"

I had to wait for a long down hill grade for all my rat-motor weight to get me going fast enough to catch up with you and Danr.
And, I didn't want that PoPo that hides just East of "Top of the World" to get me....again. He wasn't there yesterday.

Oh but he was there Karl. He was parked back under the trees waiting.. and watching.. ready to pounce on the first unsuspecting speeder that came through. Actually he held up a sign that said, "Where's Ralphie?"

140 miles out on eastern long island last week - cruising 75-80, 11 gallons used.
I was pleased to say the least as i am used to a 7.5 mpg average....not 12.5 mpg highway with my 427R!
