Default Street Beast ???

Anyone have a Street Beast and willing to answer a few questions about it?
I have a buddy who just bought a complete kit that is several years old but still in it's original crating and hopefully it's complete.
He has a few questions and could use some helpful advise.
Thanks
Dan

Dan,

I don't know much about them as I have only seen a couple here, but I know that several years ago Bill Emerson had a couple in his shop that they helped the owners get together and going. He may be able to help your friend. He is on the site as Emerson Motorsports. Hope that he can give you the help you need.

Ron

I cannot tell you how to get there, but somewhere on this site is a Streetbeast social club with a bunch of Streetbeast owners and thei car pictures.

The biggest problem was not getting all the parts needed in your kit when bought & now that Street Beasts is no longer in business. Well, Thanks for Finish Line. I have seen a lot of finished cars as I live in Florida the original home of Street Beasts & because of the builder they can be of excellent quality when finished. This is not the kit for a beginner.

Default CMC /Streetbeast

I've built a couple.
I would be glad to help your friend
He can email jleonard@henkels.com or call me 717 495 4210
They are great cars....bad bad history of sales performance by the companies.

I am just about to put mine on the road after a long uphill battle. If you have any questions let me know and if you need a copy of the build manual (boy what a joke) I can supply one. Earl

There are several SB owners on Club Cobra: you ask, we will tell. A good "build page" I found was Okieguys Main Welcome Page They did a good job of documenting what they did.

I did't agree with one "solution" to a problem, but the rest was good info. I can tell you, if ONE SB has a problem, they ALL have the same problem: SB never "fixed" anything at the factory. You just have to decide how you want to solve the problem. Good Luck!

Default Street Beasts

I have a street beast which I finished in 2004. Their manual and tech support were both bad examples but aside from that it's been a really fun car and I've had no mechanical issues other than if I sit too long at a stop light in Az the temp creeps up.
PM me and I'd be glad to help with photo's and personal experience. I live in Surprise

That's not a Street Beast problem, it seems to be a common malady.

A four core aluminum radiator goes a long way to solving that problem.
