Karl, would you send Dan Ratti a page about the picnic that he can send out to all of our e-mail subscribers? Only a few members check CC every day.

Fitz,
Just pour $10,000 into the sand, and that will cure your boat fix for ? a couple years. A boat is like a hot woman, she's always after a guy with a bigger wallet.
What I want is an offshore 44 footer, dry-docked in San Diego. What would a Scarab or Fountain run; say 5 years old in perfect condition with low hours ?

DanR,
You know you're not Mexico shy. Let's plan a trip to Puerto Vallarta !

If you are serious I will fine you that boat. Email at my email address. We have lots of toys in SD, Newport and Sausalito.

So Fitz, what do you do Monday through Friday? I worked every other weekend for many years and now I cherish my weekends with the cobra guys.

Looking forward to it Karl. I'm available to help set up/tear down if you need me. Lorraine is entertaining out of town guest so she won't make it. Bel glad to contribute the $6 normally paid for Rattle stink cove.

Scotchman, best way to see what these things cost is go on line and just type in 2009 Fountain 40 feet and check out pricing. Slip fees are all over the place but my 40' Carver was $425 month 10 years ago by the Airport. Dry storage would be less I would think. Keeping it in water would require bottom cleaning monthly...

My totally unreliable ACCU WEATHER is forecasting a high of 87* and partly cloudy for Saturday's picnic. Might be just about PERFECT.
