Here's an idea for a outing, sure to create some controversy. Did AZ Cobras receive this invitation?
__________
Christie's Cabaret in Phoenix, off 32nd St/Washington, offers a huge
parking lot perfect for your [club name] events. We want to
reach out into new communities and create long term partnerships with
local organizations that support Arizona overall. Please let me know how
we can coordinate new events with the [club name]. Our
lovely Christie's Cabaret ladies would be a great asset to this kind of
event.

Ahh, but I am, Bob. Hence, the "controversy" comment. A Corvette club had done a previous promo event with Bikini Beans (the Phoenix coffee shop with bikini clad baristas) with no issues; but, the Christie's invite has fired-up some passionate debate.

I like this idea, the wife never questions my Cobra outings and this would be a good outing.

Dale, just do a search on CC for Coronado Trail. Pictures and story. My Panhard Bar's bracket broke and while some "spirited" cornering, threw the car off the pavement and I tried to climb up the side of a mountain. Real lucky it didn't throw me the other way. It was a long way down.

"Dale, Between Karl, DanRat, Dan S, Dave S and me there more than a million stories." There are a million stories in the Naked City. Throw in a couple of naked or near naked ladies who just happen to be young and attractive and in close proximity to cars which wives feel take up entirely too much money and too much time, and you'll have a few more stories in the naked city.... and likely a few more bodies.

Lest we forget our fallen brother and the "mythical coyote" on the way to Tortilla Flats, or the short termer that waved at everyone as his car lay down the bank after losing it coming out of T.F. Going back a few years for these. Also hydroplaning in extra heavy rain coming from Strawberry to Heber. Desert landscape relocation at its best!
Really fat Drag Radials+Heavy Rain= NOT SO GOOD

Lets resurrect this thread Bob. Something in July would be great. I can stand on the corner again, no problem. Always the Cabaret. Been several decades since visiting those establishments.

Trips
Or you could all drive out to Scorpion Bay, rent a large pontoon boat with cover and cruise Lake Pleasant on Sat Sun or Monday. Could probably get you a smoking deal on a Monday. Troon (Yes the Golf guys) owns the Bar / Restaurant and Marina.
Good parking lot to park in by Sheriffs trucks.
Get gas at I-17 and 74 or down aways on Lake Pleasant Parkway.
I am at the second (2nd) entrance at Mile Marker 19; follow your noise.
Good remodeled restrooms as well.
Need to buy a boat for summer.

How does one make this thread come up on main directory? A lot of owners would not look on AZ Cobra's.

I'm sure it is listed under ALL COBRA TALK if you look back far enough. It may have been lost during the crash a few months back. There was some material that did not get reposted.
Funny I don't remember this post. "Christie's ladies would be a great asset to this kind of event". Love dem assets..!!
