Where is Ralph when we need him? Probably a political volunteer for another Chicago mayor or president!

Well I'm sitting in the butcher hook enjoying a great omelette, but lonely. I was both in back and in front getting here!

Keith I saw you on Shea as I was turning in. Looped around after seeing no one at the gas station. You must of headed back to town. Too bad.

Roads are damp in spots but so far no real rain. Views are great with low clouds hugging the hills.

On down to globe after the meal. Adios boys!

Pete, I'm glad you had a dry ride. I thought I posted early enough that everyone would have caught it.. those of us without tops and side curtains (and windshild wiper motors) are dismayed driving in the rain or on wet roads...

Pete, I'm sorry I missed you, didn't think anyone was going to show so I turned around and drove over to the Gainey Ranch show. Dan, I should of checked the computer before I left the house but it wasn't raining here so I thought we would be good to go. If in doubt check the computer LOL. It all worked out for the best, ran into a really nice guy at Gainey Ranch who brought his original 289 Street Cobra, whoo hoo. Got a few good pictures with the two cars sitting next to each other. All in all a good morning.

Good Morning Keith, Was that original you saw Blue #2288? I'm thinking it had to be, unless there are more than one original 289s around the valley. 2288 has spent a lot of time at Bob Ream's and I've lavishly drooled on it.

Ran into a couple squalls after breakfast. One at the dam and the other between globe and Mesa. So you def would've struggled without wipers.

Not many folks out so speeds were good and no LEO sightings so a great morning. Karl, when do you wanna wash my car?

Catch ya next time Keith.

Yo Pete, Bring her on over. To do an adequate job, will surely take two or three days but I don't mind if its here, cluttering up the garage. Be sure its full of gas....

Was nice to meet Keith at Cars & Coffee this morning in Scottsdale. He had mentioned to me that the breakfast run was canceled.

I decided to join the run with you guys on my own. Got about 30 miles from the house and the car decided to go hick up. hick up, hick up. Coasted to the side of the road. Tried to re-start no go. Felt like fuel issue. Knew I was not out of gas as I just filled up. Removed air cleaner to check and getting gas. Hopped back into the car, got the phone out ready to call AAA. Turned the key one last time. Fired up. No issues the rest of the trip. The tank was pretty low on fuel, might have just got some crap stuck in the carb.

Mikiec, Fuel line freeze up, maybe? Figure you Noreasters are still in freezing temperatures.

Hi Karl, yes it was 2288, really nice looking 289. He said Bob installed a EFI system on it and it runs really well now. Can't see it under the air filter but I think it is the Fast carburetor look alike system. Sounds good too!

I saw 2288 when Bob had it in his shop, yes it is a FAST system, the first generation system.
