Maybe we can get several of us and make the run in our cars only.
I'm in if others will join.

Nut-ski, I'm working of fashioning a pointer that I think I'll be able to see, under the Alternator. I already have an advance knob timing light, so I should be able to just have a line on the balancer lined up with the pointer to be able to determine my total advance, without having to be concerned with degree marks on the balancer. I'd like things better if I could actually a mark rather than just timing by ear. I have no way of measuring vacuum with no plenum chamber under my Webers.

I have had great success with timing tape applied to the damper. It is easy to see with a timing light and has plenty of degree marks for checking valve timing and other stuff. Now would also be a good timing to install it.

RattiBoy,
I'm committed to going duning that weekend, but it may fall through. Too bad we don't have a 2 car trailer.

Benny offered up 2 rooms so I will take the second room and you take the first room.
If others want to join we can switch to a close by la quantia.
My guess is unless Danr commits to go no others will join.
