Simon, I have had mine for over 15 years. There is nothing bad I can say for my SPF. Everyone wants to make it their own with their favorite modifications just like any cobra. Any temporary problem I have ever had has been resolved with the help of the great people of SCOF. You should join as soon as you own one. I have 63K+ miles on my all original drive train. On my 6th set of rear tires for some reason.
