Default Nice day for a drive

Got up to a balmy 50 degrees, Took the cobra out of hibernation. Looks good for 7 out of the next 10 days.

Looks like I need to mount the go pro again.

Hard for some of us to pass up a nice day for a drive. Put about 100 miles on mine today.

More smiles per mile!

I rolled mine out 28F for the last 2015 ride to work.
Warmed up in the late am but still it is time to put away.

Looks good Jeff. Maybe next year Santa will bring you a full sized windshield!

I was out today too. Probably put more chips in the paint and added to the patina but boy was it a nice day for a drive. Just like Karl, more smiles per mile, just love driving the Cobra!

Getting mine out for a few runs as it will be in the 50's for the next few days before the snow starts to fly.

Temps are nice but the rain is not. Supposed to be in the high 50's on Saturday and Sunday. I'll be out both days.

I was supposed to meet some of the New England members for breakfast today. Ginny had other plans. Her grandkids came over to help bake cookies. I cut loose about 12:30 To much kid noise. Took a drive around Lake Winnipesaukee. Nice 2 hr run. Temp's were nice

Define "nice." About 60 degrees here and cloudy.

When I started the drive it was about 52 degrees. When I got back to the house about 48 degrees.

I found out last year I am good to about 30 degrees. Then it is starting to get nippy.

One must be positive. 30 degrees is nippy compared to 50 degrees. But, down right warm compared to -21

Mikie, I think all of the fresh seafood and maple syrup has softened your brain. 50 is cold. 30 is colder and -21 is rediculuous for driving a Cobra without a heater and a top.

My coldest ride last winter was 25 or so degrees. It lasted 10 minutes.

Not going to do that again.

Since you now have winter down time, perhaps you can use the time to freshen up the car a little. I remember that motor of yours was getting kind of grungy before you moved. You still have a heater in that garage?

Speaking of heaters... I have a heater box with a two speed fan in the garage. I'm not going to install it. Wanna buy it? Make you a good price on it..

Dan,

Heaters in Cobras are for wimps. Besides to function properly I would need to put a top on it.
