Default Went for a drive today.

Been a relatively low snow and warmish winter so far. Rain has washed all the crap off the roads.

Today it got to 39 degrees. I went for an hour drive.

May make a run around the lake tomorrow.

Mikiec, a few of us also took a nice drive south today. I was tempted to take off my long sleeved tee shirt and just go with a polo. Fortunately, I didn't, since some heavy clouds that dropped the temps down to the mid 60°s.

Mike,
I was up in Kalispell, Montana at New Years and didn't see the sun for a week. That's hard to live in. I hope your weather's better.

So far it has not been that bad. The sunny days out number the cloudy ones. The summer kinda sucks for driving as it rains a lot. Weather say a good day coming and I get the Cobra ready and then it rains in the AM. Scratch that day.

Since I have been here I have only gotten in maybe 2500 miles. A far cry from my driving back in AZ.

Mikie, I used to every winter until 2009, then I did something about it!

So, you know who wears the pants in my family!

Ralphie, the boss! (Until my wife reads this!)

Ralph,

I wear the pants in the family. It's the one that wears the skirt I have to watch out for.

Mikiec,

I live in northern VT, needless to say the roads are not free of salt until May which means I still have a while to wait. As the winter progresses I go out to the garage more and more often just to look at the Slabside.

No but am very tempted to start the motor.

If this warm weather continues I may do just that.

I'm thinking my first trip (who knows when) will be to see Nick Acton. Just the thought of that helps the winter go away.

Dan,

Yes, very good people and outstanding to do business with.

I have been to Barrett-Jackson several times in Scottsdale and will be attending their auction in CT this June.

The temperature here has been 80° the last two days but it is supposed to start clouding up tomorrow and be overcast and down to 74° Friday.
