I need to get some right angles bent in header tubing and need to find a shop with a Mandrell bender - don't want no kinks in the tubes. Would like to use about a 14 gauge tube - 1 3/4 inch OD that can be expanded to 2 inch OD for the slip joint on the sidepipes.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Neal -- I know a master machinist up near the Deer Valley Airport. His name is Vernon Rich. I'm not sure if he does that kind of work -- but if he does, he's your man.
Did you ever see the PBS special where these guys went up to Greenland to try to bring back a WWII B-29? I believe it was called "Frozen in time". Here's a link to the transcipts
They went up there -- spent MONTHS working on it -- flying in parts and such. Anyway they brought Vernon up there to MAKE the parts they couldn't buy or find anymore -- from scratch. Pretty awesome.
FYI -- unfortunately, there was a fuel problem in the end and they were not able to bring the plane back. Made for a fantastic tv show though.
If you're interested let me know and I'll look up his number tomorrow -- I don't have it here (I have it at my office).
Ben
P.S. -- And if he can't do it, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction...
