Most of the gang is out of town on the Route 66 Run but still many Car Shows on a Sat. evening. What part of the valley do you call home? I can't wait to she her in person if you park it long enough. lol

I am in the PV area near 32nd and Shea - can't take the car out as I don't have insurance, title or registration yet....killing me. Hope to get that done this week.

I love the brushed stripes.
Only bad thing about your car is you can't upgrade to anything better now.

Beautiful car! Good thing you're not on the Route 66 drive- you'd never get the water spots off! I'm in Central Phx- let me know when you get insurance and we can meet up.

I don't care about the water spots. I plan to drive it as much as possible and put a little road patina on it! Insurance should be squared away Monday and then need to get it titled and registered.

Dan I could always put blower on it!

Nice looking car, Mike. Blower?? Didn't Shelby have two on his car? How about two 671 Paxtons??
Phx Mike likes this.

Shelby did have two Paxton superchargers but they were not "671s". Paxtons are centrifical blowers. 671s are positive displacement, roots type that usually have the carbs or injectors sitting on top, whereas Paxtons blow down through the carbs.

Maybe I will just put a couple of those fart cans on the exhaust and some LED lights underneath :-)

In all honesty the car is tremendous and right now I can't imagine anything I would want to do to improve it. The workmanship and engineering are incredible.

Remember the power windows, big-mutha-thumpa-stereo, A/C, and cup holders. Gotta have CUP HOLDERS!

hmmmm.... 3 out of 4 here (no power windows)... Is Karl making fun of me?

Karlos, I told you - Short jokes are ok, and bald jokes are ok...

But my stereo, A/C and cup holders are OFF-LIMITS!!!!

Edit: And to be fair- my car's stereo face plate spends more time in the glove box, and the A/C doesn't even work. I only keep it installed because there's still a chance I might get a hard top for it eventually (and now Karl's got me thinking that power windows might be a good idea, too... )
