Even a color blind person can tell Danr's car is not red.http://i1129.photobucket.com/albums/m515/dwrat/bug4.gif

Don't black cars matter?

Black Cars Don't Matter....

Karl Bebout 06-06-2016 08:01 AM

Danr, crashing but not burning has nuttin to do with the high cost of Ford HP...although maybe if I'd had a Ford engine, I wouldn't have had the power to have broken my Panhard bar loose?

Bruce, you and I need to find someone with a brown Cobra, and then we can all park together, and do our own section for the Pine Tree flag from the American Revolution:

I'm sure there is a cheap hardware joke in there someplace, but it's hot today so I won't bother.

No hardware jokes needed.

BTW, does Karl really think we believe his panhard bar broke before he went rock crawling???:confused::confused:

Danr55 06-06-2016 04:43 PM

Just for giggles, check out the car in the ad for the Wounded Warriors drawing in the column on the left side of this page. Look familiar? Sure does to me.

DrDuc 06-06-2016 06:48 PM

Robert,
I can't think of ever seeing a brown Cobra, but it sounds like a good idea to me!
Dan,
The wounded warrior car is actually red, if you're insinuating it looks like yours.
Bruce

"BTW, does Karl really think we believe his panhard bar broke before he went rock crawling???"

Don't know if the bar broke before hitting the mountain, or if hitting the mountain broke the bar. Very probably was "Operator Error". I'll never know, don't care.

Still has nuttin to do with the subject of uber costly Ford HP.

I was asked by the show organizer if I could make the July 2nd 2016 show.
The main concord theme will be red, white & blue American muscle cars.
I most likely can't make it but was hoping some others could.
He said to be there early, no later the 6:30am but 6:15 would be better.

Cars & coffee gainey ranch july 2

Just spoke with Peter Volny about the Concourse in the Hills 2017 event and he mentioned he is also the organizer for the First Saturday Cars & Coffee at the Shops at Gainey Ranch.
Peter is going to save 3 spots up front for a Red, a White and a Blue cobra for the July 2nd event. I told him I could provide the blue and I think Dan Shinn is planning to attend to provide the red, we just need a white cobra. Mesa Dave? You out there? 6am arrival.
Peter says he has 3 Ferraris, 3 Ford GTs, 3 Lambos and 3 Vipers lined up and we would complete the event. All makes 1 color of each. Could be interesting. Some great photo ops.

Bob,
Thanks for representing the blue.
Peter is who asked me and I agreed not realizing it was a holiday weekend.
Now thanks to you, I am free to head to the cool country.
I hope Peter is okay with Danr's "RED" car.

One excuse after another...sort of like the older, nastier, shorter "Dan". Are they "twins"?

Also, who would ever think that Saturday, July 2nd, would ever be part of a holiday weekend?

aliedog 06-15-2016 07:36 PM
