Red White or Blue Cobras Needed July 2nd 2016

I did Cars and Coffee Scottsdale this AM.
I was asked by the show organizer if I could make the July 2nd 2016 show.
The main concord theme will be red, white & blue American muscle cars.
I most likely can't make it but was hoping some others could.
He said to be there early, no later the 6:30am but 6:15 would be better.

Well, with Ralphie gone and Paul in the wind, i guess it's up to me to hold up the red part of this gambit. We ony have a couple of white cars.. and I don't think Al will drive up from Tucson again.. Blue cars should not be a problem. Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a blue car... Did I say that right, Karl?

DWRAT 06-04-2016 12:28 PM

I'm sure there's some white ones out there but I don't know of any off the top of my head.
What ever happened to the Canadian fella with the white Cobra? (George???)
I wonder if that polished Kirkham could pass as white?
They have room for about 20-30 cars total in that area.
This months theme was red cars and there were plenty of them for sure.

George sold his car and moved to the Tundra. Mesa Dave has a white w/blue stripes car but he only gets it out when its not too cold, not too hot, not too wet, not too dry...

A polished car is not white. Am I missing something.

If Danr can call his car red, Mike can call his car white, at least for a couple hours.

Here's how it works. A polished car is a chameleon. If I park in a sea of white cars my car looks white. If I park in a group of blue cars my car looks blue. If I park next to Dan's car my car looks orange.

What, No green cars allowed...?

Not fair!

Discrimination!

Fair treatment for green cars!

Wait... I'm starting to sound like a Democrat... :JEKYLHYDE

FNG catches on real quick. Love it!

fordracing65 06-04-2016 11:11 PM

Chevy orange at that.

Karl Bebout 06-05-2016 09:58 AM

"Chevy orange at that."

TRUE DAT!

Danr55 06-05-2016 10:58 AM

Mike, not a nice way for the FNG to behave..maiking fun of my cars color. Karl,, well we've come to expect that from him.. When he's not bouncing off of mountainsides or chasing a tire and wheel down the track, he's making fun of my cars color... Truth be known, he's jealous.. After all he is the big chevy fan of this group..

supercarl1 06-05-2016 11:00 AM

Mine is blue and I can make it. It would be my first time out with you guys.

Like that's a bad thing? I just like having outstanding power and dependability, without having to take out a second mortgage.

Danr, how much did you spend on your latest engine???

That's great supercarl1,
The main concord section is the east part of the parking lot by the water fountain.
You will get directions on exactly where and how to park from the show organizer.

"Danr, how much did you spend on your latest engine???"

Definetly less than you spent after driving into the weeds and up the mountain side.. A whole lot less.!

A few inputs here...first I will confess that at one time i owned a 70 super sport camaro so I do have that skeleton in my closet. 2nd I am legitimately color blind so I really am in no position to comment on the color of anyones car but why should that stop me :-).

In any event I will be at the cars and coffee on 2-July. Do we have to sign up or just show up? What time does the lot open - I can get there early.
