White Cobra Needed

Al, you are certainly welcome to join us as the white cobra. I apologize for not thinking of your cobra first. It would have come to mind if it was all white.:)

At least you remembered why you went in the room with the computer Bob. Tell the truth, how long did it take? I should not have said this. Bob is the Music Man!!!

I spoke with Mesa Dave and he's going to bring his car out to the Gainey Ranch show, Saturday, 07/02, so the white Cobra is accounted for. All good to go.

Wonder where the rest of us slouches can park?

Anywhere that's not taped off.

Danr55 06-16-2016 09:54 AM

Wait a minute...The Gainey Ranch show is Saturday July 2, but the Concourse show is the one with the Cobra Helicopter. This is getting complicated.

Bob, what did I tell you? ha. Some people read only every third word and then retain half of that.

I thought this was why I created a calendar....

Scotchman 06-16-2016 10:18 AM

Rob,
This is why I thought maybe 1 guy should take care of the calendar. These guys forget to take their meds, and then chaos ensues

moore_rb 06-16-2016 10:42 AM

You guys are a bunch of characters...

all I know is that I need to wash the bugs off my windshield before Saturday morning, because there will be free coffee at the Penske Museum... and free coffee is like a honey-trap that gets me every time.

and then I guess I need to paint my car red(ish orange), white, or blue before July 2nd, or else I'm not welcome at Gainey ranch (where you have to pay for your coffee, anyway)

and then next February, there's something going on with a helicopter up in Fountain Hills... All I know about that event is that the Helicopter needs to be on the ground before I'll agree to park anywhere near it... Because that amount of dust on my car could possibly drive my OCD right off the charts...

How's this for confusion? The Cobra will arrive on a flatbed.

Oh, then you MUST be talking about Mesa Mike's car... :p

But I would have to think his brake parts will arrive before February 2017...??? %/

Is that a 'We're number 1' sign Danr :-)

Phx Mike 06-26-2016 09:59 AM

For those of you planning to attend that (like me) won't be in the 3 spots reserved for the red, white and blue cars let's plan to park together. I will be there real early and will try to "hold" a few spots nearby if nobody else is there yet. I have not been to this before so for those of you that have is there a preferred area that you guys like to park in?

Shops at Gainey Ranch Parking

Mike, thanks for helping. This photo shows the entrance to parking area to the east of Scottsdale road. Last time we had a significant presence of 15 cobras we took up all 13 spaces in the east row, immediately north of the entrance so the cars pointed north.

Got it - I will go there and plant the flag!

Karl Bebout 06-26-2016 11:36 AM

Touched base with Mesa Dave and he's going to be at my house for a 5:15am lift off. That's the white Cobra, now its up to youse re-lie-able guys to provide the red and blue cars. Last I heard it was Rat-Boy---no wait---he had other plans made for him, since surprisingly, Saturday, July 2nd is considered to be the Forth of July holiday weekend. So, reaching back into my memory cells, BobB is providing the Blue car and Danr, is going to see if his car is close enough to Red, to pass. (it probably will, if there's not a truly red car there to compare it to)

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 06-26-2016 12:52 PM

Yup Karl. I see your higher dose of memory pills is helping. We are supposed to be there at 6am.

AZ Bob, I think
