We had a nice red/white/blue lineup and great turnout overall. Unlike the Ford GT's where the white one did not show (I would like to believe he was out racing a Ferrari somewhere...). In it's place they parked some strange looking car that looked like a cross between a 74 Eldorado and 53 Corvette.

Everybody needs to be sure to look at the last link Phx Mike posted. Great picture of Danr's car and while I can't quite call it orange, I can't say that it's red. Sorta like a "tomato bisque" color, or Campbell's tomato soup, made with milk, color.

Now, where's my toasted cheese sandwich?

PHX Mike, that 'Vette was a replica of a C1 Corvette on a C4 or C5 chassis, running gear, and brakes. I've seen a few around over the years and if you're into the old 'Vette look, but want hugely improved performance, handling, ride comfort and braking, its one way to go. Our very own Jeff Classic does pretty much the same thing putting a stretched Cobra style body on a C4 chassis. Makes for a really slick looking car and from across the parking lot, and without a 90" Cobra next to it, will be called a Cobra by probably 98% of the population. Greatly improved leg room, comfort, and all the perks of the aforementioned 'Vette replica.

The stretched Cobra I can understand but the stretched 53 Vette seemed weird. Something not right with the front to me. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Yeah what flag is that? The Prince flag of the Netherlands?

You guys were out this morning celebrating Dutch Independence day...?

That was back on January 30th... You're 6 months late.

Somebody posted a neat video of several of us leaving cars and coffee yesterday. Here's the link
