Just remember us working-class stiffs while you are out there adding to California's air-pollution problem....

I'm sure we'll be supporting too much to CA taxes in gasoline purchases and the high bed taxes. They need it to support all those guv-ment programs they have for the unemployed and the riff-raff.

My Sweetness and I were there August 18 & 19 and had a good time. Lots of info given by the guides. On the 21st or 22nd, they closed the tours due to the wildfire, just over the ridge. Have a good time.

Danr, you'll need to reserve your Hearst tickets, on line, for the specific tours and times that you want. That's probably why Aliedog posted their tours.

The donut shop car gathering Saturday morning at 7:30 is on my schedule. A local Cobra owner suggested.

It takes about an hour to get from Pismo to the Castle. Al and Patty should have plenty of time for donuts before heading North, if they want. They probably should arrive at the Castle NLT 10:30. Going on a Saturday, and that late, they'll have to park a goidly distance from the visitor center, I'ma thinking.

You guys are going to have a blast on this trip.

Is anybody taking a GoPro or other video camera on the trip? It would make a good movie to be shown at the Anniversary / Christmas party.

I think its a job for someone with a co-pilot/navigator. I've been told that I have a hard enough time keeping between the ditches, without distractions.
