Default Run to Tombstone & Bisbee 11/12 & 11/13

I'm thinking an overnight run to Tombstone and Bisbee is necessary. The weekend of November 12 & 13 should be before it gets too cold and after hot weather. Tombstone is about 4+- hours from East Mesa, and Bisbee is only 20 or so more miles. Two or three hours in Tombstone, should be ample and then drive on to Bisbee for the afternoon. Go to Sierra Vista, for lodging, since its pretty slim in Bisbee. Its only 24 miles and about 30 minutes so its no big deal and there are lots of motels in SV. Sunday morning, we can easily go back to Bisbee for more exploring or perhaps the Copper Queen Mine tour.
Let me know who's interested. I'll be looking into lodging in Sierra Vista and will post my findings here.

That is a great plan Karl. Wish we could join. Conflict on date unfortunately.
Wasn't there a group from California going to make a run in that area?

Sorry Karl but complications from my ankle have me grounded for quite awhile. Maybe in the spring. You guys have fun.

I think I can make that one. Cardinals play the 49rs that Sunday but we will probably be out of the playoffs anyway so I'm in tentatively.

Gary, Change your plans and come along!
The CA group had picked a weekend but then found they couldn't get lodging. Bet they didn't consider Sierra Vista. There are bunches of motels there.
Maybe Scottie, who's in contact with Bernie, from S. CA can let them know and some can join us.
Keith, such negativity! or is that being realistic?
Bob, maybe your old ERA will be therefor you. Ron has been getting it out on the road.

Mark in the Calendar, Señor Karlisimo... I'll plan for it

From November through April, the only other activity that grabs my weekends involves a boat, fish, and Margaritas...

But when the wind is blowing down there, I'll be driving the car up here.

I'm planning on it. I'll give Benny a jingle to let the SoCal group know.

That's the stator support on an auto trans? How in hell could that break? 'Bout the only thing I can think of would be a failure in the torque converter and then something loose getting wedged against it... Weird!
