Great day for a picnic. Great spot. Ran out of parking spaces by about 11am. Perhaps a 9am start next year will do it. Nice crowd, LOTS of grub, cookies and desserts. Lyle brought his cool toy drone. Left about 1pm, stuffed & roasted by 2pm home.
Thank you Karl for all your efforts and bringing so many necessary picnic parts.

AZ Bob

'Twas a beauteous day. Not quite as many Cobras as last year but still about 10-12, along with a Ford PU, 2 JAFMs, guess who's Subaru, an Audi, and one or two other 4 seaters. Very frustrating that the parking Nazis came along and made us give up the last four or five parking spaces I'd roped off, but the lake was very busy and people must have whined to them. First time to the lake for several and also first picnic for several. Good times. Perhaps, I'll be looking around for a different venue for next year, but this one is hard to beat. I'm thinking that Bob's thoughts about having an earlier start time (9am?) and also earlier in the month would probably help with the parking problem. Was no issue, last year. I'm also always open to suggestions.

Careful what you say about my Sube, at 17 years and 292000+ miles it will be interesting to see who expires first, it or me.

Hey, Bob, I'd like to see you come out with your Kirkham KMPS036, before you expire!

Didn't we do the picnic earlier last year? We were able to save the spots then.
