Very interesting. Large percentage of Cobra guys are also gun guys. 7 other PHX area car shows same day (11 state wide.) Where they going to park cars? Been there many times. Also $35 to which charity? Easy access indoor range. Normal $16.50 for 1 hour range time. Never there more than 20 minutes to test handgun upgrades or repair (enough for a lot of ammo.)
Shooters World Indoor Ranges Frequently crowded.
Thanks for posting event idea.

Ron, which car you taking? I've been there watching. Your cobra would be in the 175+ range and isn't liftoff around 165? Last time there strong cross wind. Cars like my GT500 do in the high 150s and I'm too old to be driving that fast. Sunday is the best day. No crowds, more experienced drivers. Might even come to watch.

I haven't had my cobra past 130-140 and ai swore it was going to go airborne so no more of that for me. I am taking the Shelby Gt-350 and see what a bone stock one can do. I have at least gotten enough miles on it to break it in. It doesn't have the same HP as the old GT 500 being naturally aspirated but it wails like an Italian car at 7500 RPM. My goal is above 150. I did a rolling half mile in my twin turbo BMW 550 and hit jus over 135- thing felt like it was going 75 with the stereo on and ac blasting
