Default Just too hot

Got up at 5:30 this am thinking I would take a nice drive out to Wickenberg just to stretch the cobra’s legs a bit. Already 86F. So I put on my running gear and did 7 miles instead. Less hot than driving the beast.

Hoping it start soon to get down to 70’s / 90’s weather soon!

Mike

When I was there I drove many times in 110 or higher.

So, Phx Mike, what's your flimsy excuse for not going on the Coronado Trail run?
You must have been home for the weekend. ???

I can't imagine just how many bottles of Windex you would have had to use if you'd gone through the Morenci mine road construction. Downright NASTY!!!

I hear they are tearing up the road to build a bridge? So is that where you screwed up your tire or was it further up the road?

Just work. I was in town but no way I can take off for two full days. I would love to go and don't mind cleaning the car.

Dan, I was just north of mile marker 184. Almost 50 miles south of Hannigan Meadows. Or, as Car Nut thought...about 10 miles...
Shouldn't tease him. He did let me ride in his 2015 jafm, which , by th way, is a very nice car.

Did you damage anything besides the tire? Are you going to try the New Mexico run to Reserve with us in a couple of weeks?

No damage, other than the tire and an oval shaped tail pipe. I have a pipe expander and new tires ordered. I'm thinking that might be a nice ride, although. I won't make any plans until you actually, physically, no**** have your car.
