Default Not quite the Coronado Trail Run

OK, as many of you know, I missed the Coronado Trail due to my car not being completed. Frame off takes a while. So I am planning another run that same general direction, but a bit different. From the Salt River Valley run south and east through Safford, then to Mule Creek and across into New Mexico. From the intersection of HWY 78 and 180, north on 180 to Reserve. Here is where options become available. Either a night in Reserve to explore and find new places to eat OR turn back west and run to Eager for a night at the America's Best and dinner at Booga Reds. Then home on Sunday morning. So questions:

1. Is anyone interested in making this run with us?
2. If yes, do you have a preference of where to stay for the night?

Reserve has a population of 289 and no motels.

Maybe: 70 out of Safford at San Jose, through Duncan to Lordsburg
then 90 up to Silver City.
180 to Springerville and the usual route through Show Low home.
Stay in Lordsburg or Silver City Saturday night,
Total of just over 600 miles, from the East Valley.

Just thinking.

Stayed in Lordsburg once. Never again. Silver City is out of the way. Maybe Alpine or Eager? Just thinking.

I was looking at the roadmap and I thought going from Safford, on 70 down to Lordsburg then 90 up to Silver City and 180 up to Springerville would be a nice ride.

I'm thinking much more about the driving than the sleeping and eating. 600+ miles in two days is not over taxing, unless its on "the trail".
