Default Tortilla Flats, Sunday 11/25

OldFart, Bill Godwin mentioned that now that the road has been repaved, the ride is sweet to Tortilla Flats.

Meet at the Chevron Station, Idaho Rd and the 60 for a 9am lift off.

This used to be a favorite run, until the road surface got so bad it felt like we were 4-wheeling. It'll be a good ride, especially if we don't run into 5MPH snowbirds in our way.

Hope this is enough pre-warning so that lots of people will make the drive.

WATCH OUT FOR COYOTES!!! THEY'LL MAKE YOU RUN INTO A MOUNTAIN SIDE

I drove that route a couple of years ago in an SUV, pretty bad shape
at that time. I'd like to see what its like after begin repaved.

Wish I could go. A life changing day for me yesterday, so I'll be laying low for awhile. Will try and make it to the Christmas party.

Thanks, Karl, for taking charge of the event! Have fun, guys.

Touch and go, right now. I MAY be pulling a Danr: organizing something and then bailing out on it. Didn't get out of the bed until 2 today and still uber wobbly. Same thing yesterday. argh! Just have to see how the vertigo is tomorrow morning. Until then, I'll just "play it by ear"...arh arh arh.

I will be there. Lisa is staying home to do Christmas decorating. Jim might make it too, but will not know until later tonight.

Hope you feel better Karl and sorry I am not going to be there. Would much rather be driving the Cobra than riding to Europe in the back of the plane.

See you guys Saturday.

A great run this morning. We had 8 cars including a new Mikie. Actually his name is Mike and he drives a silver car but he doesn't look like Santa Claus.

Great weather this morning, really enjoyed the drive. The new pavement on the road to Tortilla flat is fantastic, nice and smooth. And Karl even made the drive.

The tight twisty-curvies did little good for my dizziness so I did take it easier than normal. Still had a nice ride, marginal breakfast, and a good time with a fine group of Cobra nutsos.
