Default ARmy Aviation Society BBQ

Some of you may remember last year we attended this bbq in Mesa and had our cars photographed with a Cobra helicopter. They enjoyed our company so much, they've invited us back again this year. The date is October 26 and the place is still at Falcon Field. Like last year, we will meet at the Chevron station at McDowell and Recker and go from there as a group.....if we are interested in attending.. Don't forget, free food. This year they have some additional aircraft that some of you old guys may remember... Two Huey Gunships.. and I hear that there may be an OV 10 in the offing. So let me know if you are interested.

They'll need a large parking area for the Corvettes and JAFMs, there are so many.

Dan, I find no listing for an Army Aviation Society but, did find this listing by Southwest Street Rods for Car Show at Commemorative Air Force on Falcon Field on October 26, 2019. https://www.southweststreetrods.com/...eels-info.html $40 entry with 200 car limit. Includes T-Shirt and 2 tickets to the CAF Museum. Was there in May. Is this the show you refer to?

What I'm referring to is the army aviation association barbecue and picnic that we did last year. They had a huey gunship out there and a Cobra helicopter and they took pictures of all the cars and offered us food but we left instead.
