No fly zone gila bend

Karl and I are planning to attend the No Fly Zone at Gila Bend airport on Sunday, December 15th. I know Jim Cook was interested also. Anyone else care to join us to watch the event? I have been there twice and it's is quite interesting. $10 entry per person, parking is near, can bring food & drink but no cooking. Many food trucks. Bring chair, binoculars if wanted, video camera, brimmed hat for sun or perhaps a canopy? Racing is 10am to 5pm but leave when you want. Fun place for car people. Not bringing cobra.

I would except my last trip down there didn’t end too well

Blown transmission, burnt clutch and motor burnt to a crisp, no I will take a pass this time

Ron, since you had such bad luck on your last trip to No Fly, your chances of any sort of repeat are greatly reduced, aren't they? Laws of probabilities?

At least it sounds like a good rationalization.
