Default Watson Lake car show and run / August 7th, 8th

The 2021 Watson Lake car show in Prescott is being held August 7th-8th, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $5. Plan is as follows:

Friday 6th: Depart Carefree Highway and I17 ( Chevron) at 8am on Friday the 6th, head through Wickenburg and have breakfast at The Coach House at the top of the hill, where we will hook up with Steve and Betty. Then up to Prescott to unload our stuff. We'll figure a ride for Friday afternoon up there. Steve may have us over for games and ice cream.

Saturday 7th: Ride out to Bagdad Mine area for breakfast at the Diner, and then back to Prescott for the car show.

Sunday 8th: Head back and have breakfast in Wickenburg at the Horseshoe.

Count me in. If it is for sure, I need to make arrangements soon. Sounds great. Going up and coming back early makes the heat bearable. Stay in touch!

Gives us a great full Friday taking out time to enjoy the trip up, then Saturday morning ride in cool weather, car show and bbq? Sounds terrific. Thanks for organizing!

Any update on departure place , time? Estimated route and ETA in Prescott? Agenda? I ask as I will be staying with a friend who I invited along Saturday for the fun drive and car show. The car show I have several friends showing up to see the cars. Should be fun.

Bruce....all the talk of eating...you're a man Scottie is bound to like!

For some people, it'll all about the destination.
For some, it's all about the drive.
For some, it's all about the food,

Well Karl
One reason I am really liking my car is it combines
Interesting people, fun trips, good food, fun routes to DRIVE, interesting destinations and makes good memories. Did I say I get to dink around getting my car ready and then putting her back to sleep in the garage? P,us, my wife likes to go! The trifecta of cobra domination of the senses.

What time would we be showing up at car show? I need to tell a bunch of folks to see our cars the time.

Not sure of our arrival time at the car show. Depending on weather, may not take the cobra to the show.

I have reserved a large table for 10- 12 on Saturday night at 6pm, August 7th, at the Hassayampa Inn in downtown Prescott. Need a head count. We can always cancel. Separate checks are OK. Food is very good.
Im hoping Bruce will bring a couple of his local friends to round it out.
