We will see whoever at Carefree on Friday 9am .....and see the rest at hotel ....Al

As usual Karl is a little bit confused. The brag sessions in the parking lot always involve a little bit of alcohol, frequently involve copious amounts of alcohol, and occasionally involve excessive amounts of alcohol. Therefore, it's recommended that all participants in the alcohol consumption portion of the bragging events leave their car keys firmly planted under their pillow until the next morning. Isn't that right Scotty? And I've got videos to prove that, Scotty dancing in the parking lot.

For you new people: Bring chairs for parking lot gatherings and show.
There is an Arby's, a Pizza Hut, a Denny's and a Terrible Herbst all walking distance from Motel without crossing the street.

It looks like l'll be joining the I-17/Carefree Hwy crew. See you there.

Danr55 04-25-2022 04:23 PM

We have reservations for all who signed up for a seafood/ Mexican restaurant for Friday night. If anyone else wants in, let me know and I'll try to get you added.

NoVA Cobra 04-25-2022 06:25 PM

Anybody bringing their top? We're debating it. If not for rain, maybe shade on the way back. Tho I imagine it will be too hot with it on and not worth the trouble.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-25-2022 07:31 PM

Bring what you want. I have extra room if you need it since I am travelling alone.
I have never used the top on this trip. Light, long sleeve T-Shirt & hat with brim all around should do it.

Danr55 04-26-2022 06:59 AM

There is no moisture in the forecast, that I can see. Temps in the high 70's to low 80's. Should be perfect weather for a little jaunt in the red car.

DrDuc 04-26-2022 07:24 AM

My brother is coming with me on this trip, so add one more for dinner.
Bruce

Danr55 04-26-2022 10:57 AM

Doc, did you sign up for the dinner? No matter. I'll see if I can add a couple more.

Is there anyone else who wants dinner Friday who didn't sign up on Facebook?

RVNDOC 04-26-2022 02:31 PM

I spoke with the owner of the Roadkill Cafe Seligman and she wants to take a picture of my Cobra in front of the cafe. It would be nice to have a few other Cobra's there also if anyone is so inclined.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-26-2022 04:18 PM

Like herding cats. Thanks for looking into this Ralph. Are you referring to Friday lunch or perhaps Sunday breakfast for the Salmon Run? On Friday Karl and crew are planning on Lilo's across the street for lunch. Our group should be arriving in Seligman about noon with one stop in Chino Valley. Tradition for us is Snowcap but, we are not married to it.

NoVA Cobra 04-26-2022 08:33 PM

We're game for a group shot.

RVNDOC 04-27-2022 09:06 AM

Good question Bob! This would be on Friday before leaving Seligman for Kingman. I figured to go to the cafe after getting my Fun Run packet.

Bob Broberg SPF667 460BB 04-27-2022 02:53 PM

I'll be glad to join you. Text me your phone number to keep you updated on time frame or meet us in Seligman.

Ill be towing my garage up. I can bring a few extra chairs or if anyone knows of some bulky stuff, let me know. we will probably see you someplace in Seligman, at the hotel for sure. Ill have a larger cooler with ice.
We leave from Wickenburg and if I'm lucky we will get there close to when you all do. NoVAcobra. I can tell you, the top with no side curtains and the back window open, makes for some comfortable shade with plenty of fresh air.

NoVA Cobra 04-28-2022 11:26 PM

See you all about 730 at Wild Horse Restaurant, 8415 W Carefree Hwy

KarlzEE Bebout 05-01-2022 02:02 PM

Darn nice weekend! The weather could hardly been nicer. Not too hot, not too cold, relatively low wind for Kingman. After my trials and tribulations with the coolant leak, three bottles of Barrs Leak and a couple gallons of distilled water, voila! ran all the way home with temperatures running 165°-180°. Perfect although it was certainly the slowest run across I40 and Rt 93 Scotty has ever made. :) Thanks for the help Keith, Bruce, Juan Scotty, et al.
