Thumbs up Connect with other Prescott, AZ area Cobra people

Let me re-introduce myself, long time Cobra owner, fairly new to AZ. After the move, I decided to pull the Cobra out of moth balls and start driving it again. My Cobra is a Classic Roadsters that has been on the road since mid-90's. I missed the Kingman event by a couple of weeks while sorting out a leaking water pump and other issues from storing the car for a few years. I think the car is now completely sorted out again and my wife and I have enjoyed some short trips on the mountain roads in central AZ over the last few weeks.

I've heard about and seen a few Cobras around town but have yet been able to connect with the owners. Would like to get to know some folks in the area that also have the addiction to high HP vintage sports cars!

Hi Joel, sorry your missed Rt 66.
Steve and Betty Elliott live just outside Prescott and SOMETIMES Betty even lets Steve drive her Cobra. They've a nice stable of go-fasters.

Joel, don't let Ralph (RVNDOC) talk you into a race with his BUICK. One bad 6 cylinder!

Joel, if you have 2-hours of free time, ask KarlzEE about his first Cobra, and high HP, lightweight Cobras, he know with what he speaks, even if it was a Big Block CHEVY

Joel:

Welcome to Prescott. I moved here in 2012 and live in the Timber Ridge area. I have 3 Shelby project that I am working on (Boss 302 USRRC Roadster, Daytona Coupe, and a 66 GT350 clone).

Thanks for all the responses so far, keep them coming! I figured there were some Cobra people nearby and I see that's correct. I'm sure there's even more.

I'm following up to exchange contact info via individual Private Message.

Hi,
Welcome to AZ. I'm in Tempe.

I've not met anyone either. But I'm in the heavy research phase. My niche is my 68, 69 Fords.

hi Joel. Steve and Betty Elliott here in Prescott.
Betty has managed to find about 12 Cobra owners here. and I'm sure there are many more. but not everyone likes to drive. as Karl mentioned, we have several fun cars and motorcycles so we like to keep them all rolling.
lets get together sometime soon. Ill send a pm

Steve
