Default New Cobra in town

There is a new Cobra on the streets of Tucson. I took delivery on Tuesday the 12th. Gordon has produced another miracle. If you are in Tucson and see a very dark green cobra coming your way, wave that will be me.

Congrats Bill. Feels as good as it looks huh. A little early morning buffing session eh? Man that dark green is awesome on a Cobra. Can't wait to see it. Stop by Sunday if you're in the area, I'll be wrenchin'. Shine on buddy.

Bill,

I remember a Saturday about 1 year ago at Gordons shop. You, Matt and Jim. Matt getting ready to purchase, Jim drooling and trying to talk him into one and you. Jim fell on hard times, Matts still building and you are driving. Congrats.

John, What's taking you so long???

And that Green is so purty.

Mike

Mike.
Sue and I will be busy most of Saturday with a commitment on base but may stop by on Sunday after the Daytona 500 if you will be around.

John I have been by your house twice the past two day but no one has been home. I wanted to show off just a little. I will stop by sometime this weekend, probably Sunday if you will be home.

Mikiec
Maybe after John has a chance to see the car he will become inspired and start moving a little faster.

OK guys, I'm begining to think that some of those negative comments are aimed at me. I spent about 7 hours on the Cobra today, five hours looking for parts and two hours working on it. Good news, I drained the old oil and put in some new stuff. Are you guys using multi-weight oil such as 10W30 or a single weight ? Tomorrow I hope to get the O2 sensors connected, the transmission linkage connected, and a lot of little items finished. Anyway, yes, I am working on the Cobra. And, yes, I will be in the caravan to Ohio in June. NOW, ABOUT BILL'S COBRA !!!!!!!! He came by today and what a beauty it is !!!!!!!!!!!!! The most amazing thing is that it is VERY, VERY, VERY quiet. Bill's engine is completely stock and it sounds like a mellow muscle car from the 60"s. He is planning to add a few options which will make the car even better. As Mikec indicated, the paint is a deep dark green with metal flake and looks black from different angles. Thanks Bill for shareing your excitment with me. John
