Default Coronado Trail Hotel Info 2024

Hi Everyone,

I spoke with Tana at the Eager Best Western Motel and blocked off 15 rooms for Friday and Saturday 9/27/24 and 9/28/24. She's giving us a good rate of about $120/night plus tax, double queen or king. If you have a Western Rewards Card, AAA, AARP, or Happen to be a Senior Citizen, there might be a special GEEZER DISCOUNT.
Everyone is responsible for booking and paying for their own room. The phone number is 928-333-2540. Do Not Press One, for reservations but rather wait for the desk clerk to answer the phone and then mention that you are with the Cobra Club.

I will heading out Friday with the West Side guys. More details to come for departure time and location.

Danr says, he's not making the trip this year. Is anyone willing to take the lead on the Saturday Apache Junction departure?

Well, the situation has changed again since I spoke with Mark. I will likely be making the trip and anyone who wants to leave on Saturday, speak up. Otherwise Adriana and I will leave alone from the Chevron station at Idaho Road and US 60 on Saturday Morning at 0730 hrs. Stop for gas at Superior and then head for Morenci. This year I will drive up the mountain rather than go through New Mexico. If you are going with me, let me know here so I don't leave without you

We will stop at Bear Wallow in Alpine for lunch.

Danr, glad to hear you're going to be mis-leading people on the trail again.

Well, we will try to stay on the road Karl.. Through example, we've learned that Cobras are not off road vehicles. They don't operate well trying to climb cliffs... But then that was a different day(s).....
