Wednesday night at the Drags

Well, Bob Hughes was itching to try his new NOS setup so, I went out the took some video for him. He had some problems with it still. The bottle heater wasn't working very well for him. His first run was W/O NOS was 12.55. I missed the next run but hit his rev limiter and he didn't real well. His run was with 40% of NOS system and he ran 12.23. The next run Steve ran 11.40 in Bob's car. They got permission to run full NOS and below 11.99 but there were some bugs still in the system and the last to runs were a 11.83 and 12.10.

Well since I had to drive out to Speedworld and my Cobra is in the middle of a brake upgrade I brought out my wife Taurus SHO just to see what it would do. Well, I got beat by two Honda Civic that were both tricked out and running heavy NOS. The third race was against a tricked out Saturn without NOS.

1st Civic 15.82 Taurus 16.12
2nd Civic 13.61 Taurus 16.29
3rd Saturn 17.28 Taurus 16.27

Not too bad for a 3800lbs car with a full tank.

Hey, Paul...

I started oout to the track...Pager went off as I approached Sun City...

Had to go in and fix a user error.

Glad Bob got to run. To bad his still having problems with the NOS. Maybe it is time to replace the motor with a 502 and all the go fast items and quit fooling around with the NOS system.
