Default Calling Mikiec

Mike,

I noticed from another thread that you apparently have GT40P heads on your FFR. Could you tell me what kind of headers you used?

I didn't get a chance to make my usual winter trip to Phoenix this year, but we'll see you at DVSF II. Please greet Bob Broberg for me and tell him I'll bring a spare sweatshirt again this year to the Spring Fling.

Thanks,

I used the MAC header designed for the gt40-p heads. Would much rather use a header with a single flange. The separate flanges make the header a pain to install.

I'll let Bob know. I'll see him this weekend as we are cruzin route 66.

Mike

How much do those headers cost?

Thanks, Dick. You saved me from certain death last year. See you again this year with jacket.

Jason,

The Mac headers are anywhere from 129.00 to 179.00 The ones from FMS are about 200.00.

There are other makes for your heads. The P headers are slightly different due to the placemant of the spark plug.

Is that price a piece? How much horsepower do they add? And is there any other modifying required if these are installed?
