Default Eec A9l

To Cobra owners who have gone to the dark side, I need your A9L EEC! Please if you have some old EFI stuff, I'm looking for 30lbs injectors ( jets for the dark side peoples)and a A9L EEC ( the same as a bunch of jets and an extended knowlege of which jets to use on the dark side) More on the reason I need this stuff later. Please email me at azcobra98@earthlink.net Thanks Carb Dudes

Jerry, what size injectors are you going to be "throwing away" ? My side isn't as dark as yours. John PS. It was great to see the two of you again.

Jerry, there's a set on ebay right now. Sorry I lost the link, there's a couple days left. Bid's at $51. Haven't checked for the A9L.

Hate to rain on a parade but... 30's are a bit much for an A9L. I've got them in my car right now(w/o blower) and am pulling considerable fuel out with the 'Brain.

If those are 24 lbs injectors you are throwing away, I would be interested in them.

Would agree that 30lb injectors are on the large size, but don't know your project, can cause problems with idling as you'll be shooting a lot of fuel at low rpms even if the large size is needed in the upper rpm range for your motor. You can buy 8 packs from FRPP for $200 or so which is probably a reasonable price. You can also source the EEC box from them as well and the harness(es).

In our doing more research we think I might need 36 or 42 lbs injectors and my friend that writes chips for most of the major car companies and at least one American Motorcycle Co. is going to set the a9L programing for me. But I might want to try the 30's anyway.

If your thinking "blower" or "turbo" for your motor, yeah, I think 30 lb is going to be to small. The LAST thing you want to do is run lean! 35 to 40 is what I would do.
