Jason, I'll be in Chandler on Sat. attending my grandkids birthday party. Is there a chance that I could swing by and see the car ? Where do you live? John

Jason & Mikiec, plans have changed. The WX here is suppose to be rain all day starting about 10:00AM with a high temp. of only 50 degrees. I won't be driving the Cobra. And, because of your inclement WX forecast the grandkids birthday party has been changed so I won't be able to make it up to see your new Spec Racer. Down here in Tucson, Jim Cook has built one and has been autocrossing it in Phoenix and Sierra Vista. I'd be unhappy about the weather but we really do need the rain down here. I hope to see you another time, Thanks, John

John,
Next time...
It started raining about 5am up here, stopped now. Hopefully it will dry out for our Sat. night cruiz in.
Yup, not to happy about the rain but boy o boy do we need it. The talk up here is that Roosevelt (sp) lake will be empty by the fall with out significant rain fall. It is now at 13% capacity.

Did the inventory check, the only thing missing is the nerf pads tha go around the roll bar. THe doors and seats are on back order.
After looking at all the parts, there isn't much to these cars. Once there is room to work on it I do not anticipate taking longer than 6 months.
Just for the record I am not starting the "build clock" until I am able to start the work. I have no room to put the body on a buck stand until I sell my current car. I cannot put it in the back yard unless I want golf ball dents all over the body and dog piss from my Great Dane on it.
