Default Spec Racer progress report

Well I got the front panels on. I will finish painting the spindles tonight and will be able to hang the front suspension on tomorrow. Things are moving slow due to limited space and the having to clean the donor parts. Donor is from back East and it is taking me some time to clean off all the grit and minor rusted areas.

When I sell my Silver one, I will be able to mark and take off all the panels. Until then it will be piece by piece as I get to a certain area.

So far I will need new rotors, rebuilt calipers and back splash for the spindle. A drive shaft and shortened, a radiator, master cyl and brake booster as well. Other than that besides clamps ext, I am set.

Jason,

How many Bedrooms do you have? I used our spare bedroom to store the panels, windshield, gauges and other parts until needed.

I already moved stuff from the garage into the spare bedrooms to make room for the donor parts and I already have the Factory 5 boxes stacked on my pool table. No more room.

In fact I am trying to figure out where I am going to put the engine I just bought. I have the donor block on the engine stand and will need to find a place for it. With the both cars in I barely have enough room to take the trash out through the garage.

Instead of buying another engine stand I will need to borrow one from somebody. One with wheels.

Default part are parts

Jason,
Give me a call. I may be able to help you with some discounts on your parts. A birdie also told me you need an engine stand and cherry picker. Jeff C

Jason, I've got a pair of Mustang ll rotors that have been professionally drilled and plugged for 5 lug, Chevy bolt pattern. They are in good condition. Make me an offer, if you're interested. I live out in East Bumscrew Mesa. Karl

Jason,

Have you gone through all the boxes and done a complete inventory yet? If not...stop the build and check each box peice by piece. Verify on the parts list what you have.
